A new sweeping ad campaign encouraging COVID-19 vaccinations has launched as numerous organizations, in conjunction with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), have joined the cause to help skeptical Americans get vaccinated.
The new campaign, which was introduced with an associated Q&A website, GetVaccineAnswers.org, will serve as the largest education public ad in U.S. history as it will run along with most platforms, including social media, television, and radio.
There are currently two vaccines being distributed, courtesy of Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech, while a third, via Johnson & Johnson, has just been recently made available for limited distribution. While some people remain hesitant to get a vaccination, it certainly is not wrong as getting one can be scary. As it stands, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the available vaccines and these Coronavirus-fighting cocktails can only help in our effort to garner some normalcy again.
The above campaign was generated from the Ad Council, a nonprofit, in a partnership with COVID Collaborative. The outreach ad is not associated with President Biden administration’s pandemic plan. It all boils down to the effectiveness of the vaccine, which will no doubt save many lives in the future.
