Meet Your Travel Allied Team

Brenda is the Director of Domestic Allied Recruitment. She started her career with MedPro in 2013. "What we do here daily is very fulfilling. We help healthcare professionals accomplish their professional, financial, and travel goals while helping hospitals fulfill their staffing needs," Brenda says. She has a passion for a good round of karaoke and enjoys crafting with her family.

Tracy is an Allied Team Leader at MedPro. She has over 9 years of healthcare recruiting experience. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and enjoys traveling. Tracy is competitive and loves helping people. Her favorite part of her job is seeing recruiters she hired or coach become successful. 

Cruz is a Placement Guide at MedPro Healthcare Staffing and a graduate of Miami Dade College. His favorite part of his job includes helping caregivers find their next calling and cross destinations off their bucket list. Cruz spends his free time working on his Jeep and competing in obstacle course races.

Melissa Pereira joined MedPro in 2019 as an Assistant Placement Guide and took the leap to Placement Guide. Her favorite part of the job is the connections she’s made and the overall great environment of the MedPro office. Her interests include tattoos, tacos, and the outdoors. A fun fact about Melissa, her name means honeybee in Greek.

Kevin Abel is a Placement Guide who actually started his career in the hotel industry with various operations management positions and accolades. He chose to work for MedPro because he was referred by others who currently work for the company. Kevin heard nothing but positive feedback and how he could have a very successful career as a healthcare recruiter. Building and strengthening relationships with clients, team members, and customers is where Kevin excels. He's passionate about helping others achieve their potential while continuing his own education and growth. Fun fact about Kevin - he can do a handstand on cue on any surface! 

Matthew is a Platinum Placement Guide at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. 

Gyo Capota joined MedPro in 2022 as an Allied Placement Guide after specializing in sales for five years. An FAU graduate, Gyo is a big fan of MedPro’s work culture and opportunity for advancement and believes learning is essential to personal growth. His favorite part of his job is interacting and building relationships with clients and co-workers and getting the chance to improve his skills and work knowledge daily. His hobbies include working out, basketball, anime, and gaming. A fun fact about Gyo, he used to be able to run a mile in under 5 minutes! (Used too)

Ariana Maria Castillo Hron is a Placement Guide for Allied. She joined MedPro in 2022 and enjoys working out and going for bike rides when she is not working. A fun fact about Ariana is that she has successfully performed CPR on a 200-pound man.

Jeniffer Castillo started at MedPro in 2020 as a Recruiter Assistant and has quickly risen up the MedPro career ladder. Not only does she love helping people and building relationships, but MedPro has helped her achieve many of her own personal goals and growth within the company. Outside of MedPro, Jeniffer enjoys traveling, food, different cultures and she's a huge dog lover. Fun fact about Jeniffer - She puts pineapple on her pizza.

Meryln is one of our Senior Placement Guides at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. She has been with MedPro since 2018, working her way up through the MedPro career ladder. She enjoys training new colleagues and being a source for them. At the same time, she loves guiding healthcare candidates through the process to find their ideal assignment and being an integral part of helping travelers accomplish a new career goal. Fun fact about Merlyn - she is a horrible cook, but she loves to try new recipes! 

Kayla joined MedPro as a Placement Guide for Allied in 2023 after working as a luxury matchmaker. A certified life coach and graduate of FAU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Kayla enjoys building connections with her team members and Explorers. She enjoys reading, snacking, and traveling. A fun fact about Kayla, she learned how to ski in Dubai and is deathly allergic to apples.

Austin Davis is a Placement Guide with MedPro Healthcare Staffing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Communication and Technology and Business Administration degree from Florida State University. In his previous roles, Austin oversaw strategic partnerships in the sports and entertainment industry. Austin says, "Being a natural people person and connector it was a natural fit to join MedPro. Helping people find their dream job and try out different experiences brings excitement to me as well as the opportunity to meet new people daily and create meaningful relationships." His favorite part of his job is connecting with new professionals as well as building relationships with his teammates at MedPro and most importantly, our Explorers. Outside of work, Austin enjoys sports, traveling, cooking, dogs, the beach and the gym! 

Arnold is a first-generation American and a Platinum Placement Guide at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. He studied Business at the University of Florida and has been with MedPro since 2013. His passion for recruiting is rooted in his love for connecting great people with their dream opportunities, something Arnold says he's able to do every day. He is a college football fanatic, movie buff, and pet lover.

Jack joined MedPro as a Placement Guide for Allied in 2023 after moving to Fort Lauderdale from St. Louis. He earned his bachelor’s in communications and master’s in business administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he played Division I soccer. Jack interned at a financial advising company and earned an insurance license. Jack loves to travel and watch and play soccer. A random fact about Jack, he was a High School All- American in soccer and traveled across the US and Europe.

Javier is a Placement Guide with MedPro Healthcare Staffing. He is a South Florida native and a veteran of the United States Navy. After serving our country, he has spent three years in customer service and sales. Javier states, “I genuinely enjoy the process of building rapport and establishing relationships with all of my customers or clients”. He enjoys being an important service to one of the most vital people in our society - healthcare workers.

Cindy is a Platinum Placement Guide at MedPro Healthcare Staffing and has been with the company since 2017. She originally joined the MedPro family as a Recruiter Assistant and has since grown to be an instrumental part of MedPro's Allied team. Cindy says that understanding a candidate's skill set, while also keeping in mind a facility's qualifications, is what truly makes the difference when connecting talent with opportunity. She once owned a travel agency and loves helping find the perfect assignment location for every allied professional she works with. Cindy is an avid traveler, enjoys dancing, knitting, and loving on her pups.

Richard Johnson is a Senior Placement Guide who started his healthcare staffing career in 2018. His most notable professional gratification comes from pairing a qualified candidate with their perfect assignment, considering their background and geographical preferences. Richard is a lover of manual automobiles, dogs, and computers.

Sara is a Placement Guide with MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Her previous work experience was with a major cruise line as a group sales representative booking cruises for groups as large as 150 people.  She received many accolades during her time there, including Group Sales Agent of the Year, Ruby Club (300 bookings in one month),  and Diamond Club (200 bookings in one month). Sara decided to move to the healthcare field to help place healthcare professionals during the pandemic, and it was a great match with her previous sales and customer service experience. She enjoys attending Miami Marlins and Florida Panthers games, running with her dog, Hunter, and watching her son play baseball and her daughter dance. Fun fact: Sara is originally from Long Island, NY but has lived in five different states (New York, Minnesota, Illinois, Massachusetts, and now Florida).

Stephanie Santamaria Molina is a Placement Guide with MedPro Healthcare Staffing. She brings a wealth of sales knowledge and accolades - not only as a top producer, exceeding both personal and store sales goals but she was also voted best employee and sales manager in her former sales roles. Stephanie is passionate about her career because she sees the impact not only with our nurses and healthcare professionals but the communities they work in. She's currently working on her English degree at Florida International University and loves to read, write, and study poetry. Stephanie claims she's a little old lady at heart - she likes to garden in her free time. Fun fact about Stephanie - she learning Japanese and her goal is to travel to Tokyo without a translator!

Mason Owen is a Placement Guide at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. An FAU alumnus, Mason has held various positions since joining MedPro in 2022, including working at Earthfare (like Trader Joe’s, but cooler), interning for a local music venue, and retail. Mason was recognized for having the best customer service scores in his region at his last job and received a sales award for being “pleasantly persistent.” His favorite thing about MedPro is the great people he’s met. When not working, Mason enjoys music, movies, animals, TV, and exploring new restaurants and up-and-coming areas.

Aleanna Vargas is one of our Platinum Placement Guides and has been in the staffing industry since 2019. She is passionate about the healthcare industry and being able to match candidates' skill sets with the values of MedPro. Aleanna is originally from California and relocated to South Florida to attend the University of Miami. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UM in 2018. She enjoys the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, soccer and traveling. 

Jennifer is a Platinum Placement Guide who first started with MedPro Healthcare Staffing in 2011. "I understand the importance of helping people find work in locations they want to travel to, and I appreciate being able to help people do that," Jennifer says. She was born in Puerto Rico, was raised in New York, is the only girl of her six siblings, and has four daughters. On the weekends, you can find Jennifer shopping, reading, or spending time with her big family.
